Desktop Technician 2 Job Summary Provides technical support for desktop hardware, software, user accounts, and access to internal services. Supports software and hardware lifecycle management, new user setup, and troubleshooting for local and remote employees. Responsibilities Assist with software and hardware lifecycle management, including research, packaging, quality assurance, and deployment preparation. Set up new users, including desktop configurations, email accounts, LDAP accounts, and VPN access. Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, account, and internal service access issues. Troubleshoot software issues on employee desktops and laptops. Install and configure desktop systems and related devices. Requirements High school diploma or associate degree in a technical field. Experience supporting desktop environments and end users. Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. Experience with desktop installations and configurations. Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. Skill Windows and Mac OS support Desktop installation and configuration Software and hardware troubleshooting Active Directory Customer service Imaging Mobile device support Summary Qualification Practical experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and user accounts. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across desktop and mobile devices. Familiarity with account management, access provisioning, and internal service support. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to support both local and remote employees.
