Radiology Tech - MRI Tech

MRI Technologist

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am (holidays, on call, callback per unit needs)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 18 weeks

Requirements:

• Two (2) years of experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NY Rad Tech license (must be willing to obtain this after starting)
• Injection certification
• Certification through the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) preferred
• GE scanner experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment
• Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for tests
• Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
• Provide patient care tasks as needed
