Radiology RN

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients. They also provide post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with gastrointestinal post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.

Experience:

• 2 years of registered nursing experience
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required

License:

• Registered Nurse license (New York)

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Must-Have:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to think critically
• Team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized
