Make a difference every day as a Speech Language Pathologist working with a diverse K-12 population. This contracted, full-time opportunity offers the chance to serve students across multiple campuses in the Burlington area for the 2026 academic year, from August 18, 2026, to June 10, 2027. You will deliver vital onsite interventions and assessments that empower students to reach their communication milestones.

Ideal candidates are licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a strong desire to work within educational settings. Your expertise will support students of varying ages and abilities, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina SLP license
• CCC-SLP certification required
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload spanning multiple campuses and a range of student needs
• Dedication to ethical and inclusive practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech/language therapy to K-12 students
• Perform individualized assessments and develop intervention plans
• Document progress and submit required reports in a timely manner
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
• Travel between school locations within the district as needed
• Ensure adherence to professional and district standards
