Position Overview We are excited to welcome a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our team of imaging specialists who prioritize exceptional care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound equipment to perform detailed diagnostic procedures, work closely with a collaborative group of healthcare practitioners, and provide reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic results
- Operate and maintain ultrasound machines, addressing any technical issues promptly
- Accurately document each procedure and manage patient records within the electronic medical database
- Keep up to date with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Highly skilled in sonographic techniques and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of functioning both independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
