Location: Chapel Hill, NC, North Carolina, US Proposed Start Date: 03/01/2026 Duration: 12 Months Open Until Filled: Yes Posting Open Date: 01/29/2026 Position Summary The postdoctoral research associate will use genetic and molecular biological approaches to investigate the genetic and immunological basis of mucosal immunity and inflammatory bowel diseases. The postdoctoral research associate will also train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students in the lab. Key Responsibilities Investigate genetic and immunological basis of mucosal immunity and inflammatory bowel diseases using genetic and molecular biology approaches. Train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students in the laboratory. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements PhD in biological sciences and/or related field of study. Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Experience working with bacteria and mouse handling. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Experience with flow cytometry and mouse models of IBD.
