About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join their team. The CMO will be responsible for developing and supporting the medical staff, overseeing medical staff functions, and serving as a liaison between the medical staff and administration. This executive leadership role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, providing leadership for patient safety and quality of care, and contributing to the growth and improvement of service lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, a minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare performance improvement leadership, and a focus on stakeholder value, hospital operations, and quality. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have an M.D. or D.O. degree, with a Master's degree in business administration, health administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. The role requires a physician with at least 3-5 years' experience in an administrative leadership position and a commitment to practicing medicine in their specialty. The CMO will also be involved in executive leadership for graduate and continuing medical education, as well as supporting various departments such as finance and information services. The successful candidate will be a key player in the organization's mission to provide superior service and care, and will be expected to invest in their own professional development and education.
