Quick Facts Location: Kansas City, MO Start Date: Flexible / As negotiated Duration: Full-time, ongoing Shift: In-house coverage (flexible schedule) Hours/Week: Variable to meet department needs Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certs: Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Preferred, but recent graduates eligible Pay & Benefits Salary: Competitive, based on experience (discussed during interview) Sign-on Bonus: Generous offering Relocation Assistance: Provided Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life & Disability insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA/HSA) 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program Additional voluntary benefits Work-Life Balance: Strong emphasis on employee well-being and balanced schedules What You’ll Do Provide expert in-house neonatal care for critically ill newborns at a Level-IIIB NICU (49 beds) Manage complex cases including ELGANs, infants as young as 22 weeks gestation Utilize advanced therapies: inhaled nitric oxide, HFOV, HFJV, therapeutic hypothermia Support a unit with over 450 annual NICU admissions and an average daily census of 30 Collaborate with neonatologists and nurse practitioners across multiple units, including a Level-IIIA NICU and well-baby care units Participate in out-of-house coverage via telehealth services Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence Engage in regional neonatal service delivery and care coordination Pursue individual clinical or academic interests What You Need Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology (BC/BE) Missouri medical license or eligibility Experience with advanced neonatal therapies preferred Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills About the Assignment Join a highly regarded neonatal care team providing comprehensive, advanced in-house NICU coverage in a leading facility in Kansas City, Missouri.
