Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification at time of hire: Required
PALS certification required at time of hire: Required
Current nursing license per the state of assignment
At least two years recent experience in field

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to a diverse population in an emergency department setting.
Assess patient needs and develop a nursing care plan in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes:

Must have EPIC experience.

Orientation and competency requirements will be communicated during the onboarding process.
