Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-appropriate nursing care to patients in the emergency department, prioritizing acuity and triage
• Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and assist with procedures within approved scope
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust the plan of care
• Document care in the EPIC system, coordinate with ancillary services, and support patient and family education and discharge planning

Requirements

• Current California RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS at time of hire; TNCC within 1 year; IV Sedation competency within 6 months
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum two years of recent RN experience
• BSN preferred
