We are looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. We are an established practice that is continually growing. Work with our well-respected group serving the community for many years. While working at our Company, a Parallel ENT & Allergy Company, you will enjoy great perks, such as a great work schedule (clinic hours are Monday 8 am-4 pm Tues-Fri 8:30a-4:30 pm, no weekends), excellent benefits package, and PTO. Responsibilities:
- Calculating and collecting payments for medical procedures and services.
- Oversees the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full.
- Responsible for researching denied accounts and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, personable demeanor
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- 2 years of experience as a medical biller
- Preference for specialty medicine billers
