Grace & Proper is looking for energetic, reliable Support Staff to join our front-of-house team.
Located in Philadelphia’s Italian Market, Grace & Proper is a lively neighborhood bar inspired by the cafés, bars, and drinking culture of Southern Europe. We’re a small, busy space where great hospitality depends on everyone working together — and our support team is a huge part of keeping service moving.
This is a hands-on position combining bussing, food running, bar support, and general service support . We’re looking for people who move with purpose, pay attention to what’s happening around them, and are always willing to jump in where they’re needed.
What You’ll Do- Run food and assist with delivering items to guests
- Keep stations, service areas, and the bar stocked throughout service
- Assist with ongoing guest needs
- Support bartenders and servers during busy periods
- Help maintain a clean, organized dining room and service environment
- Assist with opening and closing side work
- Communicate with the FOH and BOH teams to keep service running smoothly
- Anticipate what needs to happen next instead of waiting to be asked
- Light food preparation
- Positive, team-first attitude

- Ability to stay organized and composed in a busy environment
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Friendly, professional communication
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and safely lift/carry restaurant supplies, dishes, and trays
- Restaurant experience is helpful, but we’re happy to train the right person
Evening and weekend availability is important.
