Role And Responsibilities The Senior Key Account Manager will have a thorough understanding of the Samsung Business Group customer base within the assigned account base/territory (West). Manage relationships and drive sales revenue to identified key end users in conjunction with our strategic B2B end customers. Identify key decision makers, including C-level, and develop relationships. Develop and plan account and product strategies. Negotiate and close opportunities. Maintain total customer satisfaction. Manage new and existing national targets and identify incremental business within a fixed set of named accounts. Work one-on-one within multiple departments of an account to uncover new business opportunities and negotiate competitive pricing. Collaborate with distribution, channel partners, internal account managers, supply chain, operations, product management, and marketing departments. Drive awareness and acceptance of Samsung’s full product portfolio into strategic corporate end‑user accounts within the hospitality sector while achieving sales targets across Samsung product categories. Create and deliver compelling sales presentations. Maintain partnerships between the company and end customers through sales process management, contract negotiation, and ongoing technical support relationships. Report on all sales activity and provide assessment of revenue opportunity along with model and unit forecast. Drive awareness and maintain working knowledge of Samsung’s product IT B2B portfolio (Smart Signage, Desktop Monitors, Indoor/Outdoor LED, Hospitality TV, Outdoor Displays, Video Walls, Spatial Displays, E‑Papers, E‑Boards & Content Management Systems), vertical solutions, and business market trends. Perform long‑range planning to increase product placement, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long‑term results and achievement of assigned sales targets. Maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and ensure any/all deadlines are met when requested. Work independently and travel up to 50 %+ of the time. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of direct sales experience. 10+ years of experience in B2B outside sales calling on end customers. Strong knowledge of industry products and market intelligence. Knowledge of the hospitality industry, including hotels and casino segments. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to travel within assigned account base and geographic territory. Operational knowledge of using a CRM platform. Microsoft Office skills required. Ability to identify key decision makers and develop relationships. Experience negotiating and closing opportunities. Experience maintaining customer satisfaction. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market. The expected ranges are as follows: Colorado: $138,000 to $170,500 New York City: $157,500 to $195,000 Washington State: $151,000 to $186,500 California: $157,500 to $195,000 Regular full‑time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 12 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 12 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more. In addition, regular full‑time employees are eligible for MBO bonus compensation based on company, division, and individual performance.
