HR Assistant

The HR Assistant provides daily administrative, payroll, and employee-support services to ensure smooth HR operations at the Kilbourn site. This role is the first point of contact for employee questions, supports key HR processes, and contributes to a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding activities and recruitment coordination.
• Support HR initiatives and engagement activities; co-lead the Engagement Committee and site event.
• Maintain employee files, prepare HR correspondence, process mail, and manage I-9s.
• Serve as the first point of contact for walk-up general employee questions.
• Perform daily attendance tracking. Support Payroll activities as needed. Payroll verification of system transactions for data accuracy (pay, job titles, etc)
• Complete FMLA and HR reporting as well as attendance.
• Office management, coordination, planning and set-up for site visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations.
