Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview Accounts Payable Specialist San Jose, CA (onsite) Pay: 35-40/hr Are you someone with at least five years of accounts payable experience looking to join a nice team in a fast-paced environment? Do you have construction industry experience? We are looking for an accounts payable professional for a wonderful new job in San Jose, CA. Responsibilities Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper approval Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments Reconcile accounts payable transactions Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries Assist with month-end closing and reporting Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting Proficiency in Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
