$529,127.00 - $1,210,367.00

Our organization is in search of a Hand Surgeon to deliver thorough assessments, both surgical and non-surgical treatments, along with follow-up care for individuals experiencing issues with their hands, wrists, forearms, and peripheral upper extremity nerves. This position encompasses outpatient clinic responsibilities, inpatient consultations, emergency call duties, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary group to ensure exceptional, patient-focused care.

• Assess and treat a wide range of hand and upper extremity conditions, including traumatic injuries, degenerative diseases, congenital defects, nerve disorders, and soft-tissue issues.
• Conduct surgical procedures such as fracture fixation, tendon and nerve repairs, arthroplasty, reconstructive surgeries, microvascular operations, and arthroscopy.
• Administer non-surgical treatments when suitable (injections, splinting, therapy referrals, conservative management).
• Provide consultations for inpatients and evaluations in the emergency department related to hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Engage in a shared call rotation for hand and upper extremity emergencies.
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, primary care providers, occupational/hand therapists, radiologists, and hospital personnel.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
• Possession of an active state medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery (or eligibility to acquire one).
• Current DEA & CDS registration.
