Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Manager

Job Description Job Description Bear Creek Golf Club in Wentzville Missouri is looking to hire an experienced and qualified chef/food and beverage manager. Applicant should have experience in working with serving daily food and beverage to customers along with larger groups. We offer wedding receptions, golf outings and social events year round. We have a capacity up to 200 guests. Experience in hiring, managing, motivating and leading staff is very important along with all other related duties that go with working for a successful operation. Must be able to multi task on a daily basis and always expect the unexpected. Essential duties include: * Purchase goods and manage inventory with current food standards. * Plan, prepare & facilitate menus for catering, daily business, holiday brunches, special events * Hire, train, schedule, supervise event staff, bartenders, line cook, all food and beverage staff. * Ensure proper safety and sanitation is followed at all times * Ensure equipment is properly running and setup any necessary repairs. * Follow a cleaning schedule with all equipment, bar, kitchen, banquet room. * Work to increase revenue through new food and beverage options as well as maintaining profit margins on existing options. * Setup, breakdown and facilitate food events for golf events, social events, weddings, daily operation. * Ensure overall guest satisfaction. * Work with event coordinator to address event needs. * Complete daily opening and closing kitchen procedures and direct staff to do the same. * Order all food, beverage, paper products through approved vendors. * Create displays on buffets with food presentation and the wow effect in mind. * Assist on occasion with banquet needs at network of courses owned by Bear Creek.
