PeopleShare is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a large logistics and warehouse distribution operation in Berkeley, IL. This facility supports nationwide transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution services within a fast-paced supply chain environment. This role is ideal for candidates with customer service experience in a warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution environment who enjoy working directly with customers, managing orders, and supporting daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound customer orders
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and warehouse personnel regarding daily order activity
• Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipment documentation
• Track inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with inventory reconciliation
• Maintain customer and vendor databases
• Generate inventory and activity reports
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving requirements
• Ensure order accuracy and timely communication between office and warehouse teams
• Maintain customer order tracking systems and records
• Support additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or distribution preferred
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to type at least 30 WPM
• Experience maintaining databases and customer records
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• High School Diploma or GED required
