In this onsite opportunity, you’ll collaborate directly with faculty and families to help students maximize their independence and succeed in their educational journey. This full-time assignment spans a single semester with the potential for influence across multiple school environments.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Missouri
• Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
• Understanding of interventions to support students with diverse needs
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to travel between multiple worksites in the district as needed
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized educational or therapeutic plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate in eligibility and planning meetings
• Deliver adaptive strategies and resources for both students and educators
• Consult with teachers, families, and other related service providers to foster growth and inclusion
• Manage documentation and caseload efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and compliance
• Adapt interventions to varied environments and student needs across several sites
