This is a hybrid job in Tri County South Fl but will be remote day to day and go onsite as needed.
\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking an experienced Collaboration / Voice Engineer to support and enhance enterprise voice and unified communications environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone and enterprise telephony , including advanced calling capabilities, call routing, Auto Attendants, Call Queues, and telephony policies.
\nCandidates with experience supporting Cisco voice and collaboration technologies are also highly desirable. This role requires someone who can troubleshoot complex voice issues, configure enterprise calling solutions, and work across networking, telecommunications, and collaboration technologies.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Design, configure, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Phone / Teams Voice environments. \n
- Configure and manage Auto Attendants, Call Queues, call routing, dial plans, and telephony/voice policies . \n
- Support advanced enterprise calling features and user provisioning within Microsoft Teams. \n
- Configure and troubleshoot PSTN connectivity , including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, or Microsoft Calling Plans. \n
- Investigate and resolve complex voice quality, call routing, connectivity, and telephony issues. \n
- Manage phone numbers, calling permissions, emergency calling configurations, and related voice services. \n
- Support migrations or transitions from traditional telephony platforms to Microsoft Teams. \n
- Work with networking and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot voice-related issues involving SIP, SBCs, QoS, firewalls, DNS, and network connectivity . \n
- Support and troubleshoot Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and SIP-based integrations. \n
- Assist with Cisco voice and collaboration environments where applicable, including technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex, Unity Connection, and Cisco voice gateways . \n
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve voice quality, reliability, and user experience. \n
- Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures. \n
