Amazon Business Director

Job Description Summary:We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Amazon Business Director to lead and scale our Amazon channel across all product categories. This role owns the full P&L for Amazon and is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive marketplace strategy that drives revenue growth, profitability, and brand excellence.Job Description:Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the full Amazon P&L, including revenue, margin, COGS, advertising and promotional spend, and overall profitability.Develop and execute the long-term Amazon channel strategy, establishing sales, market share, growth, and profitability objectives aligned with company priorities.Lead Amazon business planning across 1P and/or 3P models and identify growth opportunities across categories, products, pricing, promotions, and emerging Amazon programs.Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, including new category launches, marketplace expansion, and new Amazon programs and capabilitiesBuild and manage strategic relationships with Amazon and key external partners, leading business reviews, negotiations, and joint growth initiatives.Build and manage relationships with Amazon Vendor/Seller central contacts and key stakeholders.Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive overall Amazon business performance.Monitor business performance, competitive activity, marketplace trends, inventory health, and key business KPIs to identify risks and translate insights into strategic actions.Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Amazon team, while presenting business performance and strategic roadmaps.Qualifications10+ years of experience in e-commerce, Amazon, or digital commerce with significant leadership experienceProven experience owning and growing an Amazon business and managing P&LStrong knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central and Amazon 1P/3P business modelsExperience in beauty, personal care, or CPG industry strongly preferredStrong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and translate strategy into executionExcellent communication and leadership skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferredExperience with international Amazon marketplaces (CA, EU, etc.)Qualification(s):Education(s):Work Experience:Skill(s):Language(s):Certification(s):Not ApplicableThe anticipated compensation range is123,000.00 - 226,000.00 USD AnnualActual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location.
