We are looking for a dependable, organized, take-charge  Office & Business Operations Manager to become a key part of our company. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys keeping people, schedules, paperwork, and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

The right person is  organized, positive, trustworthy, loyal, professional, and self-motivated . You should be comfortable taking ownership of your responsibilities, solving problems, working with a busy field crew, and getting the job done with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and communicate professionally with customers, employees, and vendors
• Schedule estimates and coordinate schedules for salespeople
• Create and maintain the daily/weekly schedule for a 12-person field crew and company equipment
• Assist with crew management and day-to-day field operations
• Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting tasks
• Order, organize, and maintain office and job-site supplies
• Maintain company files, records, paperwork, and office systems
• Run occasional company errands
• Help organize and coordinate safety meetings
• Help plan company events and employee activities
• Use Microsoft Office for correspondence, scheduling, spreadsheets, and records
• Provide general administrative and operational support to ownership and management
• Identify problems, take initiative, and help find solutions before they become bigger problems

• Comfortable working in a predominantly male, field-oriented environment

• Construction, contracting, or field-service office experience is a plus
