The individual starting in this role is typically someone coming out of the trades or a new graduate just starting in the field. The EHS Coordinator may report to a project based EHS Manager or be placed on a smaller project by themselves. Provide safety support and technical assistance to project teams and be an excellent role model for Skanska and subcontractor personnel. Support project teams in identifying and providing solutions for construction and environmental hazards. The EHS Coordinator must be a flexible and adaptable team player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.EHS Coordinator Required Qualifications:1+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controlsStrong written communication skillsProficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPointBachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.Our Investment in you:We believe that Benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most, and should help you care for those who matter most.
