Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements from the comfort of your own home while still participating in a closely knit, collaborative professional setting. Your work hours are primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate seamlessly with the geriatric psychiatry team to provide integrated care solutions, ensuring a multi-faceted approach to treatment.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and mental health support for patients in distress, effectively managing urgent situations with calming and supportive strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and available resources in the community to foster informed decision-making.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient care in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and feedback to promote continuous improvement in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed therapist at Gotham Enterprises, you will primarily work with the geriatric population, which includes individuals dealing with a myriad of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and dementia-related disorders. Our patients often face unique challenges that require specialized knowledge and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of geriatric mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and family therapy tailored for older adults.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
