Work Environment

You will work onsite in our rehabilitative facility, which is designed to deliver comprehensive outpatient services. Our structured work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. With a manageable caseload of 6 to 8 patients per day, our environment enables you to devote ample time and attention to each individual, facilitating thorough evaluations and tailored treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess needs, capabilities, and goals. This includes taking patient history, observing movement, and using specialized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and established best practices in physical therapy.
• Deliver hands-on treatment methods, including manual therapy techniques and exercise interventions, to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional performance.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on safe exercise practices, injury prevention strategies, and techniques to enhance long-term health and well-being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including doctors and specialists, to create an integrated care plan tailored to each patient.

Qualifications

• An active New York State Physical Therapist license is required to practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
