Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Multiple positions are anticipated, including an immediate need based at Overhills Elementary School.

Ideal candidates exhibit strong clinical skills, flexibility in working with diverse student populations, and a passion for school-based speech-language therapy.

Qualifications:

• Current and active North Carolina SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or strong clinical fellowship candidates encouraged
• Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
• Ability to work onsite (remote/VOCO services are not considered)
• Familiarity with IEP processes and a collaborative, student-centered approach
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Document progress, maintain compliance with school policies, and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Provide direct therapy, conduct evaluations, and participate in team meetings
