Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This assignment offers the chance to provide occupational therapy expertise within an educational environment from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027. You'll deliver vital support to students, using therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their fullest potential across academic and functional settings. The position involves a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and may include working across multiple school sites.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina OT license required
• Experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting preferred
• OTR credentialing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs
• Prior experience with IEP processes and documentation a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative services in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to integrate therapy into classroom environments
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Adjust therapeutic techniques to address evolving student needs throughout the school year
