This role offers a clear hourly pay rate of $56.00 with a comprehensive W-2 benefits package and weekly pay via direct deposit.Location: San Diego, CaliforniaTentative Start Date: 08/10/2026End Date/Duration: 1 year minimum with options to extendShift: Days (8-hour shifts), Monday–Friday day shiftLicense/Certs: ARRT; current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare ProviderExperience: 1 year of experience within the last 2 years as a Mammography TechHourly Pay Rate: $56.0011 paid federal holidays in addition at $2.24/hr up to 40 hours/weekH&W benefits in addition at $5.09/hr up to 40 hours/weekBenefits: Competitive Pay PackagesWeekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit (W-2)Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2)Robust Referral Bonus Program24/7 Dedicated team committed to your success throughout your time with VHSPaid sick time in accordance with applicable state–federal–local lawsLicensure/Certification/Travel and other reimbursements when applicableWhat You'll DoPerform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as appropriate to the tasking/TO.Position patients correctly and make technical adjustments for required examinations; determine special patient preparation needs.Process digital images and submit appropriate image series for radiologist interpretation per protocol.Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures; perform system warm-ups, calibrations, and quality control tasks per manufacturer and facility policy/regulations.Document procedures and maintain required records, including arrival/departure/completed tests.Assist with ultrasound-guided and stereotactic biopsies and perform post-biopsy imaging (as required).Recognize artifacts/equipment errors and notify designated personnel; initiate repair call procedures and record issues in the trouble log.Recognize and respond to symptoms related to contrast media reactions and institute necessary emergency measures when required.What You Need RequiredARRT certificationCurrent AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification1 year of experience within the last 2 years as a Mammography TechAbility to pass a Government background check/security clearanceGraduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program**VHS is an Equal Opportunity Employer ("EEO")/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/E-Verify Employer and welcomes all to apply**
