Senior Tax Analyst
$45 per hourTemporary
Kforce's client, a large, nationally recognized organization is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst for a fully remote 3-6 month contract opportunity. This role will support a high-volume indirect tax function with a focus on sales and use tax compliance, tax research, and account analysis. Responsibilities:
- Senior Tax Analyst will prepare and file multi-state sales & use tax returns
- Perform tax account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Research indirect tax regulations and taxability issues
- Review and maintain exemption certificates
- Conduct use tax accrual reviews and adjustments
- Analyze large data sets and tax transactions in Excel
- As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will support indirect tax audits and compliance initiatives
- Partner with accounting and business stakeholders on tax-related matters
- Experience in indirect tax, with a focus on sales & use tax
- Hands-on experience preparing and filing sales & use tax returns
- Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Ability to perform tax research and interpret regulations independently
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
