An established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to take on a broad, hands-on Human Resources role supporting a workforce of 300+ employees . Reporting directly to executive leadership, this position offers significant autonomy and visibility across the organization.


The HR Generalist will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership, with responsibilities spanning benefits, employee relations, HRIS administration, workers' compensation, compliance, onboarding, payroll support, and day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Support

• Oversee daily HR activities and provide support to a workforce of more than 300 employees
  
  
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, HR concerns, and benefit-related matters
  
  
• Manage employee relations issues with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
  
  
• Respond to employee needs promptly while maintaining a positive and supportive employee experience
  
  
• Partner directly with executive leadership on employee matters and HR initiatives
  
  

Benefits, Leave & Compliance

• Administer employee benefit programs and coordinate benefit changes
  
  
• Lead and support the annual open enrollment process
  
  
• Assist with workers' compensation and short-term disability administration
  
  
• Support leave administration and related employee documentation
  
  
• Maintain compliance with applicable employment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  
  
• Maintain complete and confidential personnel records
  
  

HRIS, Payroll & Reporting

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS
  
  
• Utilize ADP for HRIS and payroll-related activities
  
  
• Support payroll processes and ensure employee changes are accurately communicated and processed
  
  
• Maintain HR reports, workforce information, and employee data using Excel
  
  
• Manage manual tracking and reporting when necessary to ensure accurate information is available to leadership
  
  

Employee Lifecycle & Process Improvement

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees
  
  
• Process employee changes, transfers, and terminations
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the employee lifecycle
  
  
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, reporting, documentation, and overall efficiency
  
  
• Manage multiple priorities independently while adapting to changing business needs
  
  

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  
  
• Hands-on benefits administration and employee relations experience required
  
  
• Experience with workers' compensation, leave administration, onboarding, terminations, and HR compliance
  
  
• Manufacturing, light industrial, or comparable workforce experience strongly preferred
  
  
• Experience supporting a sizable employee population; 300+ employees preferred
  
  
• Experience using an HRIS; ADP experience strongly preferred
  
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with HR reports and employee data
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing a broad range of HR responsibilities
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  
• High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information
  
  
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities
  
  
• Comfortable operating effectively when priorities shift and situations require independent decision-making
  
  
• Demonstrated career stability and strong tenure in previous positions
  
  
• Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in Orlando, FL
  
  
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
