As an Interim HR Generalist, you'll own a broad range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, HR reporting, and workforce support. Unlike highly specialized HR positions, the Interim HR Generalist will contribute across the full employee lifecycle while helping strengthen HR processes and procedures.


This role is ideal for an Interim HR Generalist who enjoys working independently, partnering with leadership, and making an immediate impact in a hands-on HR environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim HR Generalist

• Manage day-to-day HR operations for a workforce of 300+ employees
• Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate annual open enrollment activities
• Handle employee relations matters, investigations, policy interpretation, and performance-related conversations as the
• Support workers' compensation, leave administration, onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance activities
• Maintain HRIS records, generate reports, and partner with executive leadership on HR initiatives and workforce planning

Qualifications for the Interim HR Generalist

• 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience
• Strong background in benefits administration, employee relations, workers' compensation, and leave administration
• ADP experience preferred, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage HR reporting and compliance activities
