Chevrolet Zone Manager Parts and Service - Sacramento/Seattle

Job Description

Field Work Arrangement: This is a field-based position that requires up to 50% travel to dealerships within the assigned territory on a recurring basis. The selected candidate must currently reside within the territory or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, CA or a surrounding area approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date.

The Role:

Lead and develop a high-performing team supporting GM’s dealer network in driving parts revenue, customer-pay repair orders, customer retention, tools and equipment utilization, technician training, and warranty administration. You will also play a critical role in identifying product quality concerns and enhancing customer satisfaction for our premium brand.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales and Service Professionals to execute strategic initiatives, achieve performance goals, and exemplify GM’s core values and Cadillac’s premium brand standards.
• Model GM’s core beliefs and establish team norms that foster productivity, inclusivity, and respect for individuality and diversity.
• Build a customer-centric culture focused on empowerment, accountability, and results while driving continuous improvement and change management.
• Take full ownership of Zone revenue, customer retention, and overall customer experience.
• Stay current on developments within GM and the broader automotive industry; proactively assess and adapt processes, systems, and tools as needed.
• Analyze dealer marketing and merchandising strategies; provide actionable recommendations to increase service lane traffic and profitability.
• Oversee execution of business plans and implement countermeasures to address challenges and promote innovation.
• Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Sales Reporting Tool (SRT), objectives Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Retention, Service Training Standards (STS) compliance, EV Training & Compliance, Workplace of Choice, Engagement, Direct Leaders Index, Participation
• Demonstrate deep understanding of Service & Parts Operations, including: Automotive Parts and Service Systems Dealer Operating Reports & Fixed Ops Analysis Tools Profit department structures and interdependencies Consultative selling techniques

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Sales, Service, or Operations with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
• 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing a team preferred.
• Strong automotive industry knowledge and business acumen, including service operations, warranty processes, and customer experience management.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate.
• The salary range for this role is $149,500-199,800. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
