Job Description As a Lead Developer, you’ll work with the team to architect, develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality, responsive, performant, compliant, and secure modern web experiences. Responsibilities Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality, responsive, performant, compliant, and secure modern web experiences. Define and implement best practices in coding tools, languages, testing, and development processes. Drive the team and company forward by identifying opportunities for improvement. Participate in client calls to elicit requirements and give technical recommendations. Assist the Sales and Success teams in estimating level of effort. Work with the Infrastructure team to implement DevOps best practices. Build and maintain a quality‑focused culture leveraging automation. Ensure client web properties are kept secure and up to date. Lead a team on architectural design, planning, and distribution of development work. Contribute to the Documentation Library on internal policies and procedures. Contribute regularly to open source projects. Speak at conferences and events. Publish thought leadership content. Build a team of strong developers. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Self‑driven with a growth mindset and a proven track record of self‑improvement. Strong front end development skills. Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress or Drupal. Familiarity with accessibility requirements such as Section 508. Familiarity with Privacy Laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA with an understanding of how to implement compliant solutions. A deep understanding of performance metrics and techniques to improve them through various methods such as caching, preprocessing images, efficient search engines. Understanding of how pages are loaded and rendered. Familiarity with test automation tools such as Cypress.
