Closing Coordinator

We are looking for a Closing Coordinator to join one of our offices in Brooklyn, NY, the ideal candidate should have experience handling both residential and commercial NJ closings.
Salary $60K - $75K/year (DOE) Key Responsabilities:

- Handle all communication from parties in the file when the report goes out through closing
- Coordinate clearance by reviewing schedule B, contacting attorneys/creditors, and sending clearance requests, if applicable
- Coordinate owner/loan policies with counsel and client
- Obtain high liability approval, if applicable
- Obtain documents and all fees/invoices to be paid at closing
- Follow up for outstanding items on closing checklist
- Check on the survey if applicable
- Finalize title invoice including contacting municipalities for taxes, water/sewer etc.
- Review clearance (with counsel if necessary) and review any payoffs etc.
- Obtain "clear to close approval
- Send closing notifications
- Schedule closer and order rundowns
- Settlement statement balancing
- Loop in accounting dept. for funding
- Prep affidavits and generate loan docs, as necessary
- Experience handling both residential and commercial NJ closings
- Knowledge of NJ recording and transfer taxes
- High customer service skills
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a detail-oriented work ethic
