Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect parts and finished products against prints and quality standards
- Load, unload, lift, and move materials as needed
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
- Identify and report quality issues, shortages, or damaged materials
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
- Support material movement and forklift operations when trained and authorized
- Minimum 6 months of welding experience
- MIG welding experience required
- Ability to pass a hands-on MIG weld test
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
