Lead Diesel Technician - Fleet MechanicLead Diesel Technician - Fleet Mechanic (Wentzville) $42 and up per hour, depending upon experience Plus shift differential pay! We'd like to talk with you!Join our team providing excellence in customer service and safety while providing fleet maintenance including engine, transmission, and electrical diagnosis.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRepairs and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, transmissions, and other equipment by performing the following duties:Perform PMIs on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment.Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs.Test drive vehicles.Assist and lead other techniciansPhysical And Safety RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.Must be able to read and write reports.Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsValid driver licenseMust be willing to Get a CDL if you don't have one.Experience / EducationMinimum 7 years diesel tech experience requiredCertificate or Degree from Diesel Training Program PreferredClarke is over 60 years strong and growing.
