About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Neuro Medical/Surgical Unit – Nashville, Tennessee Start Date: October 26, 2026 Location: Nashville, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio on a 20-bed unit Highlights: - Neuro Medical/Surgical unit with comprehensive stroke certification and Level II Trauma Center verification- Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM- Meditech electronic documentation system with iMobile communication technology- Modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, and bladder scanners- Structured floating policy with contract labor floating first, ensuring fair rotation- Focus on compassionate patient care with bedside shift reporting and family-centered care approach Requirements: - Active RN license- BLS certification required- Medical/Surgical nursing experience- Proficiency in prioritizing care, multitasking, IV starts, basic wound care, and management of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes- Adherence to dress code (navy scrubs) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a certified comprehensive stroke and trauma center environment where you'll care for diverse neuro medical/surgical patients.
