Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Howell, NJ | $65,000–$75,000 + Benefits Full-Time | Fully Onsite A growing manufacturing organization in the Farmingdale area is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to own its day-to-day Accounts Receivable operation. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for someone who can supervise an Accounts Receivable Specialist while remaining directly involved with billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, aging analysis, and customer‑account resolution. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations Supervise, train, and assign work to an Accounts Receivable Specialist Monitor aging reports and drive the collection of past‑due balances Resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and customer issues Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, documentation, and internal controls Partner with Customer Service and Finance to resolve account concerns Assist with cash forecasting, working‑capital analysis, and KPI reporting Identify process improvements and strengthen Accounts Receivable workflows What We’re Looking For Five or more years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience Previous manufacturing industry experience Accounts Receivable supervisory or team‑lead experience Hands‑on ERP system experience Strong collections, invoicing, cash‑application, and reconciliation experience Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Ability to work onsite in the Farmingdale area Schedule Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday: 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical accounting function while gaining exposure to cash forecasting, working capital, process improvement, and broader financial operations.
