Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients through effective communication and empathy.

• Diagnose and treat various mental health disorders utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patients’ needs and circumstances.

• Conduct regular sessions with patients, providing counseling, support, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effectiveness.

• Regularly assess patient progress through ongoing evaluations and adapt strategies to meet changing needs.

• Engage and involve family members in therapy sessions when appropriate, fostering a systemic approach to healing.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and connect clients with available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals facing challenges related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, as well as their families. This can include working with couples to enhance their communication and relationship dynamics, or providing guidance to families seeking to understand and aid their loved ones in recovery. You will play a crucial role in intervening at critical moments and helping patients develop coping strategies to improve their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on family and couples therapy.

• Proficiency in telehealth technology and experience with remote clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package for full-time employees.
