About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will support patients experiencing psychological crises under the supervision of an RN or physician. You'll assist with crisis intervention, patient observation, and behavioral health protocols, helping ensure patient safety and dignity in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years experience in law enforcement, nursing, or behavioral health
Associate degree (criminal justice, social services, or health field) preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and crisis management skills
Ability to assist in physical patient interventions when required

Key Responsibilities
- Use crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Assist with safe application of restraints and seclusion when necessary
- Monitor patients through observation and video surveillance
- Identify and report behavioral triggers
- Escort patients and maintain a safe unit environment
- Perform patient property checks and documentation
- Participate in team meetings, training, and quality initiatives
- Follow all hospital and CMS regulations
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years experience in law enforcement, nursing, or behavioral health
Associate degree (criminal justice, social services, or health field) preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking, and crisis management skills
Ability to assist in physical patient interventions when required
