Sales Development Representative

This role is designed for someone who wants to grow. You will have a clear opportunity for promotion within 9–12 months into our Client Development Specialist role. The primary purpose of your outbound outreach is to set qualified appointments for the Client Development Specialist team, ensuring a consistent pipeline of scheduled consultations and a strong first impression for each prospective client.

The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, enjoys connecting with people quickly, and can guide a conversation from initial outreach ? discovery ? education ? appointment set. You'll be comfortable discussing common estate planning goals at a high level, building rapport fast, handling objections professionally, and creating momentum without being "salesy." The successful candidate is organized, coachable, and thrives in a KPI-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to warm leads from multiple sources
• Quickly connect, build rapport, and re-engage warm prospects to move them to the next step
• Qualify prospects by identifying goals, urgency, timeline, and fit
• Educate prospects on our process and services and address common questions/objections
• Set qualified appointments for our Client Development Specialists
• Confirm next steps and help ensure strong show rates through clear expectations and follow-up
• Maintain accurate, detailed CRM notes and manage a pipeline with disciplined follow-up
• Hit activity and conversion KPIs (dials, conversations, appointments set, show rates, and handoff quality)
• Collaborate with the Client Development Specialist team to continuously improve lead quality and conversion

Salary

• $45,000 base salary with added bonus structure.

Requirements

• Previous sales experience with quantifiable results (inside sales, call-center, SDR/BDR, appointment setting, or consultative sales preferred)
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and consistent follow-up cadence
• Excellent phone presence: clear, confident, professional, and personable
• Strong listening, persuasion, and objection-handling skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage a pipeline
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom (CRM experience strongly preferred)
• Ability to meet and exceed KPI targets in a structured, performance-driven environment
• No college degree required
