Agency Sales Director

Job Summary The Agency Sales Director (ASD) will provide sales leadership, direction and management oversight to Sales Directors (SD). The ASD is responsible for coordinating training activities for independent agents in their down‑line and for personal sales when directed by management. Primary Responsibilities Recruit new SDs as well as independent contractor agents. Follow up with new agents to ensure efficient and timely onboarding. Regularly train agents on products and selling tools. Communicate with, service and retain top level independent contractor agents. Attend and participate in meetings as required by management. Strive to meet company sales objectives. Perform other duties as assigned. Adaptability: Able to deal with frequent change, delays, deadlines, or unexpected events. Attendance/Punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Dependability: Follows instructions, responds positively to managerial direction. Qualifications Must hold a valid life & health insurance license. High school diploma or undergraduate degree (industry experience may substitute for educational qualification). Three (3) or more years’ experience in insurance marketing and sales. Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and motivating independent or career insurance agents. Possess basic computer navigation skills and knowledge or familiarity of basic computer programs/applications including email, word processing, spreadsheet programs, internet, Adobe, etc. Location: Dallas, Texas.
