Office Assistant 3 (OA3) – Community Corrections Division, Tacoma, WA Monthly salary range: $3,849.00 to $5,124.00. This full‑time, non‑permanent position is expected to last approximately six months. Work hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. The office is located at 1016 S 28th St., Tacoma, WA, 98409, under general supervision from the Office Manager. Responsibilities Maintain and organize electronic and physical files. Enter and retrieve data from systems such as OMNI (Offender Management Network Information) and OnBase. Archive closed DOC field files. Perform front‑desk reception duties on a rotational basis: greet and direct clients, the public, and stakeholders to appropriate staff; manage a multi‑line phone system; receive equipment and supplies from vendors. Provide general office support, including processing incoming and outgoing mail and miscellaneous clerical duties. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least six months of clerical experience, including basic use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Reliable attendance and respectful, confidential demeanor. Ability to assist individuals with varied criminal backgrounds. Strong written and oral communication skills with coworkers, the public, and criminal‑justice agencies or stakeholders.
