Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting thorough assessments for couples and individuals, formulating treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, families, and individuals to address challenges and enhance relationships.
\n
• Specializing in various issues, including but not limited to: alcohol abuse, psychological abuse, grief and loss, familial conflicts, job stress, medical issues, and adjustments related to separation or divorce.

• Implementing therapeutic techniques and methodologies that align with best practices in marriage and family therapy.
\n
• Maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with organizational policies.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and advocate for clients’ needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client population that includes both adults and children/adolescents. Each client brings their unique challenges, whether they are navigating complex family dynamics, personal crises, or the stresses associated with life transitions. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding them towards healthier patterns and improved communication within their relationships.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field.

• A valid, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

While recently licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, those with experience in a clinical setting focusing on family dynamics, substance abuse, and trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. A flexible approach to scheduling to accommodate client needs is preferred, with an expectation of a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.
