Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to create individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to streamline documentation.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve an underserved population who face various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, substance misuse, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your expertise in family and couples therapy will be crucial in providing support to those navigating complex emotional landscapes, ensuring that your contributions lead to meaningful enhancements in their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
