Payroll Coordinator

HR CoordinatorMileOne Autogroup, one of the largest automotive groups in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a highly motivated person to work on-site at the corporate office in Towson, MD. This individual will support the HR team on executing various HR functions which include reporting and auditing, compliance and onboarding follow-up, recruiting admin tasks, and other various HR duties.The right individual will be a self-starter with a track record of success in data analysis, attention to detail, multi-tasking while ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our employees in managing their experience with MileOne.Essential Duties:Conduct audits of various business processes, payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and resolve discrepanciesAssist with employee follow up in relation to time keeping, compliance tasks and pending business processesSupport the administrative responsibilities associated with the recruiting process for an assigned regionAnalyze, verify and input payroll data during processing including but not limited to hours, compensation, benefit deductions, tax withholding, etc.Complete job change functions, daily tasks and projects within the Workday systemAssist adhering to compliance and regulatory processes and follow-up with employee baseRespond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programsMaintain current knowledge of all company benefits programs and Health and Welfare programs, including Health and Dental Insurance, Life and Disability Insurance, Retirement Savings, Voluntary Benefits Programs.Assist with any other projects assigned by leadershipQualifications:1- 3 years of office administration, payroll, accounting, HR, or related experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and spreadsheets).Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette.Proficient in data analysis and managing large volumes of dataDemonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.Excellent analytical and problem solving skillsDependable, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.Our MileOne Employee Advantage: MileOne believes that taking care of our employees is the most important step in creating a positive workplace and a successful company.
