Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and frequency of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a clear understanding of their existing challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive changes in clients' mental health.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices.

• Track and document client progress meticulously, revising treatment plans as needed to align with evolving client needs.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care, enhancing the overall treatment experience for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually improve therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards in client documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Inner Spectrum Institute, you will work primarily with clients facing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role will extend to supporting marginalized groups such as victims of domestic violence, individuals experiencing homelessness, and refugees who face multifaceted challenges in their lives. Your empathetic approach will be vital in guiding these clients towards recovery and stability.
