Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, BusinessAdministration, or relatedfield preferred but not required.
• 3-5+ yearsof experience processinghigh-volume, full-cycle payroll.
• Experience managing payrollacross multiple stateswith aemployees are paidaccurately and ontime while helpingbuild scalable payrollprocesses for continuedgrowth. You'll workalongside a collaborativeFinance and HRteam in anstrong understanding ofvarying state taxand labor regulations.
• Working knowledge ofpayroll accounting, payrollreconciliations, and generalledger coding.
• Experience preparing payrolljournal entries andreconciling payroll accounts.
• Strong Microsoft Excelskills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, anddata reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention todetail with stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritizemultiple deadlines andadapt to changingbusiness needs ina fast-pacedenvironment.
• Excellent communicationand customer serviceskills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Payroll Professional(CPP) designation isa plus.
• Experience supporting rapidorganizational growth.
• Knowledge of payrollsystem implementationsor process automation.
• Experience with month-end close proceduresand financial reporting preferred.

Job Duties:

• Process full-cyclepayroll for ahigh-volume, multi-state employee populationon a weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly basis.
• Ensure payroll isprocessed accurately andon schedule whilemaintaining compliancewith all federal, state, and localpayroll regulations.
• Review, audit, andreconcile payroll dataincluding earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and benefitdeductions.
• Maintain and validateemployee payroll records, tax withholdings, directdeposits, and otherpayroll-related information.
• Prepare and reconcilepayroll journal entriesand ensure payrolltransactions are accuratelycoded to thegeneral ledger.
• Partner with theAccounting team toreconcile payroll accounts, resolve discrepancies,and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with payrolltax reporting, W-2 processing, quarter-end reconciliations, andannual payroll audits.
• Monitor and ensurecompliance with wageand hour laws, multi-state taxregulations, and companypolicies.
• Research and resolvepayroll discrepancies andrespond to employeepayroll inquiries ina timely andprofessional manner.
• Collaborate with HumanResources, Finance, andBenefits teams toensure accurate employeedata and payrollchanges.
• Support payroll systemenhancements, process improvements, and implementation ofbest practices asthe organization continuesto grow.
• Maintain confidentialityof sensitive employeeand payroll information.
