# Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk**Herzog-Meier Auto Center | Beaverton, OR** **Full-Time | Monday–Friday | On-Site**Herzog-Meier Auto Center is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented **Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk** to join our Accounting team.This is a hands-on accounting position supporting a busy multi-franchise automotive dealership. We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of their work from start to finish.**Dealership accounting and CDK experience are highly preferred.**## What You'll Do* Process and code vendor invoices* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies* Process vendor payments and maintain accurate vendor accounts* Post and reconcile accounts receivable payments* Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables* Assist with daily deposits and cash/credit card reconciliation* Reconcile assigned accounting schedules and clearing accounts* Research aged, unusual, or out-of-balance items* Assist with month-end accounting and closing responsibilities* Work with Sales, Service, Parts, and other departments to resolve accounting issues* Maintain accurate documentation and follow established internal controls## Systems We Use**CDK | Yooz | Zevez | Microsoft Excel**## QualificationsExperience with CDK or other automotive dealership accounting systems is a strong plus. Experience with Yooz, Zevez, or similar AP automation and payment platforms is also preferred.## What We're Looking For* AP and/or AR accounting experience* Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred* CDK experience highly preferred* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Solid Excel and computer skills* Ability to reconcile accounts and research discrepancies* Strong organization and time-management skills* Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment* Dependable attendance and consistent follow-through* Professional communication skills* Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately## The Right FitWe're looking for someone who does more than simply enter transactions.
