Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by healthcare providers, ensuring alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions across diverse specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine, tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Provide in-depth patient education and training, involving patients and their caregivers in the rehabilitation process to enhance compliance and recovery.
• Consistently demonstrate superior customer service, establishing strong relationships with patients to foster trust and encourage their active participation in their treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, driving improvement in functional mobility and quality of life.
• Meet or exceed agreed-upon utilization goals and actively contribute to departmental and organization-wide objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Korunda, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, treating individuals of all ages with various conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• A current state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Background in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to address diverse patient needs.
• Experience with clinical practice guidelines and treatment protocols to enhance patient care quality.
• Strong abilities in community engagement to build relationships and enhance public awareness of rehabilitation services.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
